Belfast Police Department beat: Shoplifting, insurance violations

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Dec. 10-18. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Dec. 10

    Haleigh M. Duclos, 20, of Thorndike, was issued a summons for operating after suspension.

    Dec. 11

    Megan B. Cullen, 50, of Northport, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license (less than 90 days).

    Cecil R. Armstrong, 37, of Monroe, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.

    Dec. 12

    Eric E. Hopkins, 62, of Mount Desert, was issued a summons for speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue and for failure to provide proof of insurance.

    Dec. 13

    Matthew D. Hogan, 21, of Tomahawk, Wis., was issued a summons for criminal mischief.

    Dec. 16

    Luetta J. Pankonin, 68, of Tenants Harbor, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license (over 90 days) and for operating an unregistered vehicle (over 150 days).

    Dec. 18

    Elvis N. Robbins, 54, of Belfast, was arrested for theft (shoplifting).

    John H.  Cashman Jr., 29, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Anderson Street.
