    BELFAST— The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Sept. 16-23. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Sept. 6 (late entry)

    Brett A. Gotham, 18, of Belfast, was issued a summons for assault on R.W. McLeod Lane.

    Sept. 16

    Amanda Thomas, 29, of Belfast, operating after suspension on Main Street. 

    Sept. 18

    Paul E. Cunningham, 49, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Swan Lake Avenue. 

    Herbert L. Staples Jr., 55, of Belfast, was issued a summons for keeping a dangerous dog on Swan Lake Avenue. 

    Sept. 20

    Zayne A. Snyder, 18, of Northport, was issued summonses for speeding 42 mph in  25 mph zone and carrying passengers beyond license restriction on Robbins Road. 

    Stephen J. Colby, 21, of Swanville, was issued summonses for operating under the influence, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a usable amount of marijuana on Main Street. 

    Taylor Lane, 23, of Belfast, was issued a summons for furnishing a schedule Z drug on Main Street. 

    Sept. 22

    Margaret I. Peterson, 54, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 39 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Street. 

    James A. Levy, 50, of Madison, Wis., was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 3.
