Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST Belfast Police reported the following activity April 22 - May 15.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    April 22

    Sarah Hill, 62, of Rutledge, Pennsylvania, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Starrett Drive. 

    May 6

    Jared Colson, 43, of Belfast, was issued a summons for domestic violence assault on Waterville Road. 

    Adam Barnes, 39, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for possession of a schedule W drug on Franklin Street. 

    May 11

    Dakota Demaria, 28, of Belfast, was arrested for assault on a correctional officer, operating under the influence, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and endangering the welfare of a child on Route 1.
