Belfast Police beat: speeding, texting while driving
BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity May 1-13. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
May 1
John J. Patten, 60, of Old Orchard Beach, was issued a summons for failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means on Northport Avenue.
May 2
Hannah M. Harding-Cumler, 34, of Jackson, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Waldo Avenue.
May 8
Amy R. Jewett, 37, of Corinth, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and failure to stop at a stop sign.
May 9
Brad J. Pinkerton, 37, of Belfast, was issued a summons for truancy.
May 10
Amanda J. Harvey, 36, of Swanville, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on High Street.
Nicole Knight, 31, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for texting while operating a motor vehicle on Starrett Drive.
May 11
Michael J. McCoy, 42, of Montville, was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle (150+ days) and failure to provide proof of insurance.
A Montville juvenile was issued a summons for speeding 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 3.
Alexandra L. Timpson, 66, of Johnson, Vt., was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Main Street.
