Belfast Police beat: Speeding, drug possession, OUI

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Feb. 25 - March 1. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Feb. 25

    Bonnie J. Blythe, 65, of Portland, was issued a summons for speeding 57 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

    Philip N. Barter, 78, of Franklin, was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

    Derrick D. Smith, 36, of the Bronx, N.Y., was issued a summons for operating without a license on Pierce Street.

    Feb. 26

    Thomas A. Langille, 25, of Belfast, was issued summonses for unlawful possession of schedule W drugs and use of drug paraphernalia on Front Street.

    Christina M. Perkins, 25, of Belfast, was issued summonses for unlawful possession of schedule W drugs and use of drug paraphernalia on Front Street.

    Kenneth E. Flood, 48, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence on Belmont Avenue and issued a summons for operating with an expired license.

    Feb. 28

    Silas A. Roberts, 42, of Belfast, was arrested for assault and violating conditions of release on Searsport Avenue.
