BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity Jan. 18 - Feb. 5. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

Jan. 18

Kevin G. Anderson, 38, of Portland, was issued a summons for speeding 60 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Jan. 23

Austin A. Bergstrom, 20, of Belfast, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Lincolnville Avenue.

Jan. 29

Melissa L. Gray, 53, of Brewer, was issued a summons for speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Devon S. Danforth, 19, of Swanville, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Swan Lake Avenue.

Ronald A. Tufo, 66, of Searsport, was issued summonses for speeding 64 mph in a 34 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Jan. 30

Unique S. Peters, 43, of Belfast, was issued a summons for assault on Main Street.

Jan. 31

Shannon L. Goodine, 48, of Bucksport, was issued a summons for speeding 63 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Peter McCaffrey, 41, of Belfast, was arrested for violating conditions of release and receiving stolen property on Lincolnville Avenue.

Feb. 1

Phyllip Stevens, 27, of Belfast, was arrested for failure to appear.

James D. Poirier, 51, of Augusta, was arrested for operating under the influence, failure to stop and violating conditions of release on Route 4.

Feb. 5

John H. Millett, 48, of Gorham, was issued a summons for speeding 64 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Feb. 6

Jeremy Bennett, 28, of Brooks, was arrested for (two counts of) failure to pay fines.
