To what do our wandering eyes appear? Is it once again that wonderful time of year?

Yes! Santa will be returning to the Belfast Boathouse on the waterfront in Belfast. Join the community Saturday, December 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for this free family event.

Children will be able to decorate cookies from Delvino's, make an ornament and other crafts from Cornerspring Montesorri School and Front Street Pub, enjoy holiday story time provided by Belfast Free Library, a horse drawn family wagon ride from S&S Carriage Rides, and don't forget the hot chocolate provided by Waldo Community Action Partners.

The Chamber and Rotary Club have been collecting new and gently used books for the past month so that each child can take home a free book.

Additionally, Colburn Shoe Store will also provide a pair of new socks for each child and Belfast Rotary Club will be doing a youth bicycle giveaway for one attending girl and boy.
