The Belfast Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to a record setting number of visitors and locals to Waldo County this summer, it said in a news release.

It is seeking volunteers who enjoy meeting people and sharing knowledge of the area with others.

The chamber needs volunteers to welcome people to the Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s Center, located at 14 Main Street in Belfast. 

Volunteers are provided with information and education.

The Visitor Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week and volunteers can select time slots that work for their schedule.  Have just two hours a week?  That’s perfect!

“We are flexible, supportive and most of all, we have fun,” the chamber said. “People are excited and happy when they visit the Chamber and we share information on what to do, where to eat and things to do.”
