Ash Point Community School continues its quest for Gold for the WinterKids Winter Games this week.  The pictures included are from the Winter Carnival that was held.  Students participated in a variety of activities focusing on technology, engineering, and physical activity.  The learning activities included:

• Building a pinball machine out of paper plates, pipe cleaners, tape, and small wooden pieces

• Engineering bridges out of toothpicks and marshmallows
• Computer Coding
• Building seats out of paper and tape that can hold a stuffed animal

Students also participated in a variety of physical activities and challenges during the second. half of the Winter Carnival.

“We have had an incredible time over the last several weeks,” said Principal Ben Tripp.  “Special thank you to the staff for all their work and our amazing community for their support.”
