CUSHING — Arts In the Barn has announced its summer schedule for 2023. The  first and last show are community shows, meaning everyone is invited to submit a work of art, and they are not juried.

The "Lobster Show" is also a community show, but all submissions should be part of the theme of lobsters and that lifestyle. The subject can be buoys, lobstermen, boats, etc. and does not have to depict lobsters specifically. The "Lobster Show" is a fundraiser for the Maine Lobstermen's Community Alliance, and a portion of sales will go toward them and the Historical Society.
