Art for auction on display at Waldoboro Public Library

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro Public Library is gearing up for an online art auction to be held from September 25 through October 8 on the auction site BiddingOwl.com.

    The library is now displaying more than 70 original works by artists and artisans—everything from works on canvas or paper, to sculpture, stained glass, wood turning, and fiber arts.

    You can go to the “Great Art for Great Reads” page on Facebook for a peek at some of pieces that will be up for bid.

    “Better yet, stop by the Waldoboro Public Library at 958 Main Street, Waldoboro, to see all of the art on display,” said the Library, in a news release.
