VASSALBORO — Golfers from five area high schools traveled Tuesday, Oct. 5 to the Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro to participate in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference shootout. 

Oceanside advanced to the Class B state team championships alongside Leavitt, Lincoln Academy and Morse. 

Golfers that shot an 89 or better advanced to the individual championships for their respective classes.

The state championships for Class A will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 while the Class B state championships will be held Friday, Oct. 8. Both will be held at Natanis.
