CAMDEN — The 34th Annual Maine Sport Triathlon will be held Sunday, Aug. 31 at Barrett’s Cove on Megunticook Lake in Camden. The race will be sponsored by Maine Sports Outfitters. 

Registration begins at 8 a.m. the morning of the race, with a start time of 9 a.m. sharp. 

The race consists of a half-mile swim on the lake, followed by a 26-mile bike ride looping through Camden, Lincolnville and Hope, as well as a 6.6-mile run through the rolling hills of Camden. 

The race attracts 200 participants. Entries may be individual racers or two-and-three person teams. 

Some of the race day features include category prizes, t-shirts for all participants and post-race refreshments.
