Adeline Mitchell was the first baby born in 2017 at Waldo County General Hospital. Adeline was born at 12:05 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2017 to parents Michele Scribner and Josh Mitchell of Troy.
Adeline, born at 8 pounds but earlier than expected, is their first child. She was due for January 7.
The family was presented with a gift basket by the Women and Infant Health Care Unit at Waldo County General Hospital. Congratulations!
