The Study Hall, in conjunction with Online Learning Coaches, LLC, is dedicated to helping students of all ages achieve their academic goals. Our curriculum-based tutoring boosts confidence, enhances skills and improve grades while our standardized test preparation and college counseling programs help simplify the college admissions process. We are also well-versed in homeschool assistance, remote learning and credit recovery.

Since 2003, our fleet of certified teachers, tutors and professionals have successfully worked with over 6,000 students. We can work around the busiest of schedules to make sure your tutoring experience is both effective and convenient. We are currently offering a wide variety of one-on-one remote tutoring options including: 

Literacy Tutoring

Taught by Literacy Specialist, Kathy Cook. Kathy has a M.A.Ed. and is trained in several reading programs including Orton-Gillingham, LiPS, Wilson and Project Read. 

Middle/Elementary School Math Programs

Taught by certified teacher, Katey Smith. Katey taught 4^th and 6^th grade in the public school setting. From addition and subtraction to multiplication and division of mixed numbers, Katey will design a program to fit any elementary or middle school student’s needs.

High School Math Programs

Taught by certified teachers, Sara Ralph and Joan Benner. We are offering many different levels of review and preparation for all of the math transitions including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and more.

Organization and Study Skills Program

Taught by Audrey Dennis. Audrey was a middle school and high school Special Education Teacher for 6 years, in both Maine and Maryland. She taught and co-taught a variety of levels of mathematics and English, as well as other subjects, in small and large group settings.

Standardized Test Prep – PSAT, SAT, ACT

Verbal standardized test prep is taught by certified college counselor, Sara Rademacher. Sara has over 20 years of experience teaching verbal standardized test prep.

Math standardized test prep is taught by former certified teacher, Joan Benner. Joan has over 30 years of classroom experience teaching all levels of high school math.
