Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition Hiring Recovery House Managers

The Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition is currently recruiting for recovery house managers for both its men’s recovery house (The Friends House) in Rockland and the women’s recovery house (63 Washington) in Camden.  Information about the positions are listed below.

 

Job duties include assisting with resident care, assuring residents complete assigned house chores/duties and all house rules are followed in a compassionate and respectful manner while maintaining professional boundaries, assisting residents in human/spiritual growth, potentially administering urine analysis testing, and client accountability.

 

Weekday hours are from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Weekend hours will be flexible according to need of house residents but should be 3-4 hours per weekend day.

 

Preferred candidates have a working knowledge of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction (not limited to 12 steps programs (such as AA or NA) and experience working in sober living or any other level of care in regard to mental health/substance abuse treatment. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
