North Haven boys fall to A.R. Gould
The North Haven boys hosted A.R. Gould Saturday morning falling in a low scoring, flat game with only 78 points scored between the two teams.
The Hawks took a 13-10 first quarter lead and then just fell flat allowing Gould to make the comeback taking a 23-16 half time lead and a 33-23 lead into the final stanza where they picked up the win.
North Haven falls to 13-3 on the season and currently is in fifth place in Western Class D Heal Point Standings. The Hawks have one game left in the regular season against Rangeley Lakes Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.
Scoring for North Haven were, Avery Waterman with a game high 17 points; Zeb Campbell nine; Ethan Taylor four; and Dalton Hornby two. North Haven was 2-of-3 from the foul line (67%). and they drained four 3-pointers, all from Waterman.
For AR Gould, Zacharia Mohamed had 16 points; Sam Adams nine; Isaiah Mokeme and Tim Robertson eight each; Chris Thomas three; and Hassan Sheikh two. Gould was 5-of-10 from the foul line (50%) and knocked down five 3-pointers, Mohamed (3), Adams (2).
