Two new deputies join Knox County Sheriff’s Office

ROCKLAND — The Knox County Sheriff's Office has recently hired two new patrol deputies to fill vacancies within the patrol division, according to a news release from Chief Deputy Tim Carroll.
Deputy Nicholas Holloway has been employed with Knox County as a Sgt. in the Knox County Jail and decided to join the ranks of the patrol division in September.
Deputy Alicia Gordon was a corrections officer at the Maine State Prison for the last three years and joined the Sheriff's Office in November.
Both deputies will be attending the 18 week Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro within the next year.
