ROCKLAND - These are the lucky winners of the two raffles held during the Two Old Cops and an Angel event hosted by the Friends of Rockland Public Library on Sept. 23.
Barbara Klapprodt won a set of three books, consisting of the latest book of each author: John Ford, Mark Nickerson and Kate Braestrup.
Patty McMahon won a collection of items from John Ford consisting of his latest book, a wildlife print and a set of wildlife note cards drawn by Ford.
The two old cops are John Ford, a retired Maine State game warden, retired Knox County Sheriff’s chief deputy and author, and Mark Nickerson, a retired Maine state trooper and author. The angel, Kate Braestrup, works with the Maine Warden Service as a chaplain and is also a writer.
