It’s party time in Rockport for 125th Anniversary celebration on The Chris Wolf Show

The Rockport Quasquicentennial kicked off Thursday, Feb. 25, with a day-long blood feud blood drive in Camden and Rockport. The celebration continues Thursday night with an evening of remarks, music, photos, cake and music with the Midcoast Brass Quintet at the Rockport Opera House. (It’s a free event.) The Quasquicentennial continues Friday, Feb. 26, at the Rockport Opera House with a Fireside Chat with Rockport elders, who make up a great guest line-up who will share many stories and personal memories about growing up in Rockport. On Saturday, My Home by the Sea, Scott Dyer’s famous play, then a bean supper and finally, dance at the Simonton Corner Community Building.
