Mountainfilm on Tour brings different shows to Waldoboro, Damariscotta on April 17, 18
Mountainfilm on Tour in Midcoast Maine brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. The tour will visit Damariscotta and Waldoboro on its annual stop in Midcoast Maine. Two theaters and two totally different programs.
Mountainfilm on Tour in Midcoast Maine brings films that explore themes connected to the festival’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
Mountainfilm on Tour in Midcoast Maine is being presented by Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust, Renys and Rising Tide CoOp. This will be the 6th year in Damariscotta and the 4th year in Waldoboro. Both shows are fundraisers.
The Damariscotta show, Thursday, April 17, will benefit the Great Salt Bay Community School’s Parent Teacher Organization’s outdoor related efforts and the Waldoboro show on Friday, April 18, will serve to raise funds for future programming at the Waldo theatre.
The first show kicks off Thursday, April 17, at The Lincoln, featuring the eight film program titled “The Medley”.
The second show, Friday, April 18, at The Waldo, plays another eight films titled “Indomitable Spirit”.
Both shows starts at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets will be available the day of the event at both venues. The cost for each show is $10 in advance and $15 day of show per adult and $5 advance or day of show per child or student. See the complete playlist for each location at www.mountainfilm.org/tour/schedule.
