“Resting into Spring” with Hester Brooks at Rockport library, March 20
ROCKPORT — On Thursday, Mar. 20, at 11:30 a.m., the Rockport Public Library will host a free program called “Resting into Spring.” In this time of seasonal transition, local rest coach Hester Brooks will offer guided relaxation practices around the theme of new beginnings. Participants are encouraged to dress in cozy clothing. The library will be providing warm beverages and soothing snacks.
Hester Brooks is on a mission to create a well-rested world, one woman at a time. She found the Daring to Rest method at a time when she was physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted and it transformed her sleep and her life. Brooks, a Daring to Rest Certified Rest Coach and Yoga Nidra facilitator, offers 1:1 coaching and deep rest events to help women identify what is keeping them in a cycle of fatigue, start a rest practice, and make decisions that support their future rested self.
