Merryspring online presentation: Pesticide Practices and IPM
Hillary Peterson and Gary Fish will lead an online presentation called, Pesticide Practices and IPM, hosted by Merryspring Nature Center, on Tuesday, March 25, at 12 p.m.
Hillary Peterson, Integrated Pest Management Specialist, and Gary Fish, State Horticulturalist, both from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, will share tips for making informed choices about garden pests. Learn to identify common pests and beneficials, decide how much garden damage is acceptable, and explore the "IPM Toolbox," including the pros and cons of different pesticides and why homemade options are not recommended.
