"What We Can Do For Birds" begins Winter Horticulture Series, Jan. 28
The first of five very unique, informative presentations will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 9:30 a.m., via Zoom. Camden Garden Club welcomes Becca Rodomsky-Bish of Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This 2025 Horticultural Series begins with "What We Can Do For Birds."
Rodomsky-Bish will speak about how to manage biodiversity and why it’s important.
Rodoomsky-Bish is an avid gardener, for both her family and the birds. She creates abundant, beautiful gardens to feed them all. She holds an M.S., Environmental Studies, Antioch University and a B.A., Anthropology, Sonoma State University.
Originally, Becca Rodomsky-Bish found her way to the Cornell Lab by working on a project called Habitat Network that taught people about creating habitats at home and in their communities to better support birds and other wildlife. She is involved in collaborations with the Cornell Lab and Cornell University, where she aims to support the public in engaging in activities to better support birds.
The Zoom presentation is free and open to everyone.
Presented in collaboration with the Camden Public Library.
"Registration is a must for this free Zoom talk," said Camden Garden Club, in a news release.
