Donna F. Mitchell, age 80, passed away on January 22, 2024, at Concord Hospital in New Hampshire. Born in May 1943, Donna graduated from Camden High School in Camden, Maine, in the class of 1961. 
 
Her journey in healthcare began as a lab technician at Camden Hospital, later transitioning to Concord, New Hampshire, where she devoted 50 years to a fulfilling nursing career, retiring at the age of 70. Donna's passion for working with people left a lasting impact on those she cared for. 
 
Beyond her professional life, Donna found joy in the companionship of her cat, Miss Wrigley, who shared 20 years of cherished moments before passing away just days before Donna. Donna also loved exploring the world through travel, from the scenic landscapes of Maine to the tropical beauty of Aruba. 
 
Her generous spirit shone brightest during Christmas, a time she treasured, delighting in selecting thoughtful gifts for her family. Donna's friendships were steadfast, and she was especially grateful for the unwavering support of friends like Carole and Betty, who stood by her, particularly in her last days. 
 
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, William (Billy) Dorson; her father, Fernald Mitchell; mother Mabel Mitchell; brother Jeff Mitchell; nephew Clair W. Mitchell; and sister-in-law Jane Mitchell.

She is survived by her three brothers and their families: Elliot Mitchell of Hope, Maine; Glenn Mitchell of Appleton, Maine; Clair Mitchell of Appleton, Maine. 
 
A private committal service will be held in Spring 2024 for immediate family.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the warmth she brought to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
