Milked dry by the school district over last 81 years
As a lifelong dairy farmer it’s fair to say I know a thing or two about milking. As a taxpayer, I am nearing the end of my useful life and have little left to give. I feel as though I have been milked dry by the school district over the last 81 years.
Every year, the majority of my property taxes are funneled from Union Town Hall to RSU 40 coffers.
Last year’s school budget for one year alone, was just shy of $34 million. When I heard they want to borrow $81 million dollars plus interest more, I was speechless.
No, my vote will be no and unless you want your taxes to go up again, you should vote no, too!
