Thu, 12/26/2019 - 7:00pm

The Trapt Escape Rooms and Billiards will open at 3 p.m. Jan. 2.

Put together a team so everyone has a chance to use their problem solving skills and ESCAPE within the hour.  Each room can have a team of up to six people.

Trapt will open with two rooms, "Gone Missing" and "The Cracked Hull."

“We plan on keeping things fresh and have plans for many additional rooms which will be coming soon so join our Facebook page or check back to the website frequently,” according to a news release.  “Owner Tiffany Ford says she is pleased by the renovations and transformation and cannot wait to see people enjoy their time in the new space and watch them use their wits to try to escape the rooms her and her kids developed.”

For billiards, there are two coin operated pool tables, an 8 and a 9-footer, as well as an 8-foot coin air hockey table, ping pong table and corn hole.

Trapt Escape Rooms and Billiards also has a food and beverage program put together by General Manager Marcus Carter.

"We have a great selection of soft drinks, wine, domestic beer and even have craft beer from some of Maines top breweries,” said Carter, in the release. “There will be hot dogs, chips and snacks and other food available while you're here with us as well. I can't wait to see everyone from the community come out and try these rooms. Escape rooms are so popular out west and in other countries. This is the hip new thing and its right here in our small town of Rockport.”
