District Serves Vinalhaven

MSAD 8 proposes 5 percent increase

    VINALHAVEN — The proposed school budget for Maine School Administrative District 8, which serves Vinalhaven, includes a potential 5 percent increase for the upcoming school year. 

    The budget would rise from $4,138,232.28 to $4,353,545.41, if approved by voters. 

    A district budget meeting will be held Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m. at SHMH. 

    Voting on the budget proposal will take place Tuesday, June 11 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
