WALDOBORO — Waldoboro Day will be celebrated June 14 and 15, 2024.

 

Slugger, the Hall of Fame Mascot from the Sea Dogs, the Blueberry Queen and Princess, Ms. Frizzle and her Magic School Bus, are all part of the parade.

”As a lot of the vendors are small crafters and nonprofits, we recommend you bring cash with you as some booths will be cash only, while some may be able to accepts cards, Venmo, PayPal, etc.,” said Rebecca Waddell, in a news release. “There will also be free activities for kids, free books, so you don't need to break the bank to have fun.”

Friday, June 14

- Bean Supper 5-7 p.m., Broad Bay Church, 941 Main St

- Car Show at Delano’s at 4 p.m., 2090 Atlantic Hwy.

- Storytelling at The Waldo Theatre from 7-8:30 p.m., 916 Main St.

 

 

- Pancake Breakfast - 7-9 a.m., Safe Harbor Church, 50 Mill St.

- Waldoboro Day 5k - 8:30 a.m., 11 Friendship Rd.

- History Tour - 9:30 a.m. at Sylvania, 467 Friendship Rd.

- Old German Church - 9-11 a.m. open for tours, 235 Bremen Rd

- Parade at noon, starting at 50 Mill St, going to Pine St.

- Waldoborough Historical Society – noon- 4p.m. learn about schools before the turn of the century., 1164 Main St.

- Pinky LaRue - glamping photo booth, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., 995 Main St.

- Food, Fun and Activities at the Waldoboro Rec Fields from 1-5 p.m. Park at Miller School.

- Craft Fair 1-5 p.m. with all the food and fun at the Rec Fields.

- Time Capsule Opening at 5 p.m. at the Rec Fields.

- MidLife Crisis plays from 6-9 p.m. at the Rec Fields.

- Fireworks at 9 p.m. set off from Philbrook Field (next to former A.D. Gray)
