    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Nov. 24-30. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Nov. 24

    Donovan G. O’Reilly, 26, of Hampden, was issued a summons for speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone on Coles Corner in Winterport.

    Ashley M. Littlefield, 21, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone on Bangor Road in Stockton Springs.

    Nov. 25

    Deputy David White responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on North Main Street in Winterport, where an operator lost control after hitting a patch of black of ice around 5:30 a.m. The driver of a 2007 Ford was traveling southbound when they came upon a small bridge and the ice. The operator lost control of the vehicle, which traveled across the northbound lane and struck the northbound guardrail. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage, and the driver was uninjured.

    Benjamin C. Hamel, 34, of Belfast, was issued a summons for aggravated criminal mischief on Nickerson Road in Swanville.
