    BELFAST  — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity July 12 - Aug. 5. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    July 12 

    Peter J. Huff, 41, of North Providence, Rhode Island, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on South Main Street in Burnham. 

    July 23

    Corey Grody, 31, of Hopkinton, New Hampshire, was issued a summons for assault on Lincolnville Road in Belmont.

    July 27

    Jessica Seidl, 44, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for violating a protective order on New England Road in Searsmont.

    July 29

    Christopher A. Merry, 48, of Swanville, was arrested for domestic violence assault and domestic violence terrorizing on Nickerson Road in Swanville. 

    Zachary S. Lapan, 37, of Orland, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Poors Mill Road in Waldo. 

    July 30

    Gage Bowman, 23, of Corinth, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle on Kendall Corner Road in Waldo. 

    James Johnson, 32, of Winterport, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Lincolnville Road in Belmont. 

    Aug. 1

    Matthew R. Small, 35, of Unity, was arrested for aggravated domestic violence assault, stemming from an incident July 31.

    Aug. 2

    Swan N. Sinclair, 33, of Northport, was issued a summons for operating after habitual offender revocation on Route 1 in Northport.
