BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Aug. 11-16. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Aug. 10

Kenneth Artkop, 44, of Searsmont, was arrested for violation of a protection order (two counts) on Woodmans Mill Road in Searsmont.

    Aug. 11

Deputy Jordan Tozier responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Route 100, near the town line between Burnham and Pittsfield, where a northbound vehicle failed to yield to the right-of-way. The 2011 Ford was towed due to disabling damage, while its driver was uninjured. The driver of the second vehicle, a 2008 Ford, suffered a potential injury to the neck, while their vehicle sustained functional damage.
