    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Feb. 23 - March 6. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Feb. 23

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to a deer v. vehicle accident on Atlantic Highway in Northport. The driver was uninjured and the 2017 Subaru they were operating sustained functional damage. 

    Feb. 24

    Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Depot Street and Main Street in Unity during sleet and snowy weather. The operator of a 2014 Volkswagen was traveling northbound on Main Street when their vehicle slid into the rear end of another vehicle while attempting to turn onto Depot Street. That vehicle, a 2016 Toyota, was stopped in the street and sustained minor damage to the rear passenger side. Both the driver and passenger in the vehicle were uninjured. The driver of the Volkswagen, was also uninjured, as was their passenger. Their vehicle sustained minor damage. 

    March 2

    Devon A. Palmer, 22, of Waterville, was arrested for unlawful possession of a schedule Y drug on Route 3 in Liberty. 

    John T. Dayhoof, 37, of Lincolnville, was arrested for operating under the influence on Belfast Road in Lincolnville.

    March 3

    Adam H. Brooks, 45, of Millinocket, was issued summonses for operating under the influence and possession of a schedule W drug on Route 139 in Monroe. 

    Nicholas A. Singel, 20, of Unity, was issued summonses for failure to report a crash, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and unauthorized taking or a registration plate on Stevens Road in Unity.

    Marlissa Pearl, 47, of Thorndike, was issued a summons for domestic violence assault on Mount View Road in Thorndike.
