Waldo County Sheriff’s beat: vehicle burglary, theft, misuse of ID
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity April 4-26. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
April 4
Damion Littlefield, 21, of Jackson, was issued summonses for burglary of a motor vehicle and theft on Veterans Highway in Brooks stemming from an incident around Feb. 9. He was also issued summonses for burglary and theft on Route 7 in Brooks stemming from an incident around Feb. 21. Littlefield was also issued summonses for misuse of ID and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Veterans Highway in Brooks stemming from an incident around Feb. 9.
April 17
Kristopher K. Bowen, 25, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days) on North Main Street in Winterport.
April 19
Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Brooks Road in Thorndike where a driver lost control after swerving to avoid a cat that had entered the roadway. The 2011 Toyota left the roadway and struck a telephone pole, sustaining functional damage. The driver was uninjured.
April 22
Robert W. Hamilton, 31, of Winslow, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on School Street in Searsport.
April 23
Tyler S. Augustine, 28, of Ashland, Wisc., was issued a summons for failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means.
