Vinalhaven passes SAD 8 school budget
VINALHAVEN — Voters in Vinalhaven took the voting booths on June 11 to overwhelmingly pass the school budget.
The proposed school budget for Maine School Administrative District 8, which serves Vinalhaven, included a potential 5 percent increase for the upcoming school year.
The budget will rise from $4,138,232.28 to $4,353,545.41.
