State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Blue Hill woman who was last seen July 23. Jessica Grindle, 37, was reported missing by a friend on Wednesday, Aug. 22.  Grindle is 5-foot, three inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. 

Investigators have received some tips, after State Police first appealed to the public for help last week. Several searches have also taken place on and near two ponds in the area: First Pond, also known as Billings Pond in Blue Hill, and Frost Pond in Sedgwick.

Anyone with information about Jessica’s whereabouts or who has had any contact with Jessica since July 23 is requested to notify Trooper Jacob Ferland at 207-973-3700.
