According to Maine State Police, the truck was going too fast.

“There was some leakage from the truck's fuel tanks and DEP was on scene,” reported Maine Public Safety Office spokesman Steve McCausland. “The truck is owned by A C Moore, whose offices are nearby.  The driver, Robert Skidget, 74, of Saco had minor injuries and was not charged. It was not immediately known the fate of the fries.”
