Three arrested in Brooks after Maine State Police execute search warrant

    BROOKS — Three people were arrested on drug charges over the weekend following the execution of a search warrant on a residence in Brooks where, “large amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia were found,” according to a release from the Maine State Police. 

    The search was conducted by members of the MSP Troop D, with deputies from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department assisting at the scene. 

    Those arrested include Ricky Seekins, 49, of Brooks; Lisa Grant, 49, of Brooks; and Devon Ricker, 32. 

    Items seized during the search of the residence included fentanyl, methamphetamine, over 100 hypodermic apparatuses, trafficking paraphernalia reportedly used for distributing scheduled drugs, illegally possessed inspection stickers, and a stolen firearm. 

    Seekins has been charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs (fentanyl), possession of hypodermic apparatuses, possession of schedule W drugs (methamphetamine), possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, receiving stolen property, and illegal possession of inspection stickers. 

    Grant is charged with possession of hypodermic apparatuses, possession of a schedule W drug (fentanyl), possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and receiving stolen property. 

    Ricker was arrested for three outstanding warrants, violation of bail conditions, and possession of schedule W drugs (fentanyl).
