THOMASTON — Two open seats on the Thomaston Select Board attracted four candidates, while a seat for the Board of Assessors was uncontested. Voters elected Bill Hahn and Sandra Moore to serve on the Select Board.
Thomaston voters also considered at the June 11 polls whether or not the town should dissolve its police department and contract with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office for law enforcement coverage. The town chose to keep its own police department.
