One of the many reasons I will be voting for Senator Dave Miramant again this November 6 is because I know firsthand that he cares all year round. I've noticed in the past that some candidates seem to only care and talk to me around the election season. With Dave that is not the case, and his caring extends beyond party politics and policy.

I remember one time in a bad winter storm when the tires on my car were nearly bald and I didn't have the money for fancy new tires. I was worried about driving out on the slippery roads. As soon as Dave heard about my predicament and without hesitance he offered to drive me home, and his help didn't end there. Senator Miramant went above and beyond by looking into places for me to get new tires for less cost so I could be safe. He even offered to help get my car to the garage. This kind of help isn't wagered for a vote or to get something in return. Senator Miramant helped me because he is genuinely a good person who cares about people, and he goes out of his way to help when he can.

We need more people like Senator Dave Miramant in Augusta. We need our electeds to extend beyond party lines and represent all of us. We need electeds who are in it for something bigger than themselves. We need electeds like Dave Miramant who are in it because they truly want to help improve our lives and have the skills needed to make good on that.

I hope you will join me in voting to re-elect Senator Dave Miramant this November 6.
