Rockland announces street, park closures ahead of Blues Festival 2024
ROCKLAND — The North Atlantic Blues Festival returns to the Rockland Public Landing this weekend, July 12, 13, 14, 2024. Main Street will be closed Saturday, July 13, from 7 p.m. - 12 a.m., for Club Crawl.
“Please be patient when traveling through town, as the festival always brings a large influx of visitors and with it traffic,” said Rockland Police, in a news release.
The police provided the following information:
• Thursday night ALL vehicles must be out of Harbor Park (Rockland Public Landing) for set up. Harbor Park will then be closed for the festival Friday – Sunday.
• Saturday is Club Crawl and Main Street will be CLOSED to vehicles from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM (see detour maps)
• No Open Alcohol on Main Street (outside designated areas adjacent restaurant/bars) and Please Do Not Drink and Drive! Driving high or buzzed will get you arrested and puts you and others needlessly at risk. This weekend we will have an increased law enforcement presence to keep everyone safe, including increased traffic enforcement and OUI details.
