The free-will offering collected at the end of the performance is always given to a local charitable organization, according to the Church, in a news release. This year, a donation of $1,112 was collected for the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry. The participating bell choir directors presented the check to Karen Giansiracusa, a member of the board of directors for Camden Area Christian Food Pantry.
This year’s program featured performances by Choral Bells of the First Congregational Church of Camden, Penobscot Bay Ringers and Penobscot Bay Ringers Ensemble of Camden, and the Handbell Ringers of First Congregational Church of Searsport.
