Public hearings on budgets: $17 million SAD 28; $13 million Five Town CSD
The school boards of the Camden Rockport K-8 schools and Camden Hills Regional High School will hold two consecutive public hearings via Zoom Tuesday evening, May 18.
Voters will consider the two budgets June 8 at the town meeting polls.
The first hearing will address the proposed 2021-2022 School Administrative District 28 (Camden-Rockport K-8 schools, with approximately 720 students) at 6 p.m.
The second hearing will take place at 7 p.m. to address the Five Town CSD (Camden Hills Regional High School) budget. Camden Hills educates students in grades 9-12 from Appleton, Camden, Hope, Lincolnville and Rockport. In 2020, enrollment was at 714).
The proposed SAD 28 2021-2022 budget is $17,269,139.
The proposed Five Town CSD Budget is $13,439,433.
