Police make Camden arrest following Cushing incident
On November 15, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the Knox Regional Communications Center received a call reporting that a male was threating the occupants of a residence on Prior Lane in Cushing with a shotgun. Deputies responded to the area and found the residents safe; the suspect had fled prior to their arrival. An alert was sent to law enforcement statewide to locate the male.
Joseph E. Seward, 33, of Aston, Pennsylvania, was located and taken into custody without incident in Camden by Sheriff’s deputies with the assistance of officers from both Camden and Rockport police departments at approximately 3:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Seward is current confined at the Knox County Jail on a charge of Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon. Bail has not yet been set.
