Organized dips planned for 2nd Finding Our Voices “Love Yourself” Cold Water Dip
Dipping groups across Maine participating in the second annual Finding Our Voices “Love Yourself” Cold Water Dip will wear yellow and wade into freezing water Sunday, Feb. 9 to raise money for Finding Our Voices and build sisterhood.
"The event is on Super Bowl Sunday because domestic violence traditionally spikes on that day, and the Sunday before Valentine’s Day as a way for women to gather in love for themselves and each other," said Finding Our Voices, in a news release.
