Rockport, ME- The Midcoast Recreation Center is pleased to announce the arrival and installation of new lights in its tennis center. The year-long campaign was completed this week. 

“Tennis has never been better at MRC,” said MRC Executive Director Craig Wilson. “Our new lights were installed this week, and they look great. We were able to double the lighting level and at the same time we decrease the amount of energy they use by over 30 percent. This project couldn’t have happened without community support and a big thank you goes out to the tennis committee and all the individuals who made a donation to complete this project.” 

“From a players’ perspective you couldn’t ask for more,” says MRC Tennis Director Seth Meyer. “I have played in numerous indoor facilities around the country and these lights truly are top notch.”
