Midcoast artist Marjorie Strauss will display three large pastels which evoke the colors of Christmas beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Sanctuary Gallery in the Rockland Congregational Church. Her works are in emerald green and russet red, drawn from the natural botanical subjects she portrays. The public is invited to stop by the church, 180 Limerock Street, between 8:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until Epiphany, January 6, 2017.
