Maine Marine Resources Lobster Trap Auction begins Nov. 4
The Maine Department of Marine Resources is holding an auction for 422 lobster traps. The items for bid include eight lots of 50 traps, and one lot of 22 traps. Traps are in a variety of conditions, from poor to excellent.
In addition, there is one lot of rope available for bid.
BIDDING: Bidding will begin Monday, November 4, 2024 and will take place on GovDeals.com online auction website.
You must register with GovDeals.com before you can bid. There will be no other types of bids taken. You can view items online and register to bid at www.govdeals.com.
You can find the items on their website by searching “Maine” or by going to www.maine.gov/surplus and clicking on the GovDeals icon.
ONSITE VIEWING: Viewing may be done by appointment between 8:00 am-3:00 pm Monday – Friday 11/4/2024 to 11/8/2024.

A 2024 Maine DMR Trap Auction Tag must remain in the trap at all times after the sale. You will need to show the paid receipt you get from GovDeals.com at the time you receive your items.
Loading will be the responsibility of the successful bidder and shipping arrangements and cost are the sole responsibility of the successful bidder.
