Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from June 24 - July 1.

    Joshua S. Anthony, 38, of Vinalhaven, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, on Vinalhaven March 16, 2019, $500 fine.

    Donna D. Britto, 58, of Waldoboro, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland April 19, 2018, dismissed.

    Daniel Carter, 30, of Rockland, domestic violence assault, priors, in Warren March 1, 2018, five years in jail with all but nine months suspended, probation two years; domestic violence terrorizing, priors, five years in jail with all but nine months suspended, probation two years; violating condition of release in Thomaston Dec. 25, 2018 and May 8, 2019, 90 days in jail.

    Dalton Cross, 25, of South Thomaston, possessing softshell clams less than 2 inches in Thomaston March 30, 2019, $150 fine.

    William Deane Jr., 42, of Friendship, violating condition of release in Thomaston May 19, 2019, dismissed; domestic violence criminal threatening in Thomaston March 2, 2019, dismissed; criminal threatening in Thomaston March 2, 2019, 90 days in jail.

    William S. Doub, 66, of Owls Head, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Owls Head June 27, 2018, $500 fine, 10 days in jail, license suspended 150 days; operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland July 4, 2018, $500 fine, 10 days in jail, license suspended 150 days; violating condition of release in Rockland July 4, 2018, seven days in jail.

    Andrew J. Elwell, 25, of St. George, operating under the influence (alcohol) in South Thomaston Dec. 16, 2018, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Abigail Madeline Gabriel, 25, of Pleasant Point, elver fishing by resident without license in Camden April 3, 2019, $2,000 fine.

    Paul S. Giansiracusa, 37, of Warren, operating while license suspended or revoked in Warren May 2, 2019, $500 fine.

    Tyler J. Gricus, 32, of South Thomaston, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force in Rockland Nov. 26, 2018, 120 days in jail; assault in Rockland Nov. 26, 2018, $300 fine, $300 suspended, 120 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland Nov. 26, 2018, $400 fine, 120 days in jail; aggravated assault, assault on an officer and refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force in South Thomaston May 10, 2019, all three  charges dismissed; criminal threatening and violating condition of release in South Thomaston May 10, 2019, both charges 120 days in jail; domestic violence assault in South Thomaston May 10, 2019, 364 days in jail with all but 120 days suspended, probation two years; assault in South Thomaston May 10, 2019, $300 fine, 364 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.

    Gricus, who was arrested on May 10, 2019 appeared in Knox County Unified Court before Judge Susan Sparaco May 13. His bail was set at $2,500 cash with no third party bail allowed. Gricus was already on an active set of bail conditions from a previous arrest.

    According to the affidavit filed in court by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to a report of a woman who was assaulted by Gricus. The victim told police that the suspect struck her in the head and put his hands around her neck.

    Deputy Jacob Labo confirmed in the affidavit that he saw bump on the victim’s head and a mark on her neck. She was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport for treatment.

    Richard J. Heller, 70, of Cambridge, operating vehicle without license in Rockport April 28, 2019, $100 fine.

    Austen T. Jackomino, 29, of Thomaston, operating under the influence (drugs or combination, no test), in Rockport June 10, 2019, dismissed; violating condition of release in Rockport June 10, 2019, seven days in jail; operating under the influence (drugs or combination) in Rockport June 10, 2019, $500 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended 150 days; domestic violence assault, priors, on Vinalhaven March 16, 2019, dismissed; domestic violence assault on Vinalhaven March 16, 2019, 364 days in jail with all but 60 days suspended, probation one year.

    John R. King, 25, of Rockland, operating under the influence in Thomaston March 18, 2018, dismissed; driving to endanger in Thomaston March 18, 2018, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days; furnishing liquor to a minor in Rockland Nov. 20, 2018, $250 fine; violating condition of release in Rockland Nov. 20, 2018, dismissed.

    Alan Kruger, 38, of Rockland, criminal mischief in Rockland April 28, 2019, $500 fine, restitution $959.98.

    Samuel N. Lawrence, 25, of South Yarmouth, Mass., criminal simulation in Rockport Nov. 29, 2016, $1,000 fine; theft by receiving stolen property in Rockport Nov. 29, 2016, dismissed; forgery in Rockport Nov. 29, 2016, dismissed.

    Randy G. Leonard, 64, of Thomaston, failing to yield right of way in Rockland April 25, 2019, $250 fine.   

    Aron W. Marshall, 38, of Camden, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockport May 14, 2019, $500 fine.

    Timothy S. Mazzeo, 19, of Thomaston, minor possessiong liquor in Rockland March 29, 2019, $200 fine.

    Dylan McClure, 21, of Rockand, furnishing liquor to a minor in Warren May 25, 2019, $500 fine; allowing minor to possess or consume liquor in Warren May 25, 2019, dismissed.

    William V. McMahan, 37, of Cushing, operating under the influence (drugs or combination, no test) in Warren March 29, 2019, $600 fine, four days in jail, license suspended 150 days; violating a condition of release in Warren March 29, 2019, four days in jail.

    George E. Miller, 42, of Thomaston, violating condition of release in Thomaston Feb. 24, 2019, three days in jail.

    Tyler C. Nickles, 25, of Rockland, failure to register vehicle in Rockport May 12, 2019, $150 fine.

    Kimberly Overlock, 49, of Warren, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Warren Sept. 13, 2017, $500 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended 150 days; operating while license suspended or revoked in Warren Sept. 13, 2017, $250 fine, $250 suspended.

    Roger Francis Plourde, 20, of Jefferson, violating condition of release in Owls Head March 21, 2019, 48 hours in jail.

    Mark Reese, 35, of Portland, violating condition of release in Thomaston March 14, 2019, seven days in jail.

    Jonathan J. Sevon, 45, of Friendship, probation violation for original conviction of domestic violence criminal threating with priors, in Friendship Sept. 17, 2017, probation continued, no sentence imposed; trafficking in prison contraband in Rockland May 2, 2019, six months in jail.

    Joshua J. Warren, 30, of Owls Head, assault on an officer in Owls Head May 19, 2019, nine months in jail; violating condition of release in Owls Head May 19, 2019, 30 days in jail.

    Corey D. Williams, 43, of South Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, in Rockland Nov. 9, 2018, three years in jail with all but eight months suspended, probation two years, restitution $223.00; violating a condition of release in Rockland Nov. 9, 2018, 30 days in jail.

    Nicholas Winter, 20, of Lincolnville, violating condition of release in Hope Dec. 1, 2018, 72 hours in jail.
