Jeanne (Lynch) King, obituary
WARREN — Jeanne Marie (Lynch) King, age 75, passed away peacefully at home in Warren, Maine on Monday, May 19, 2025 with her loving husband, Eugene, by her side.
Jeanne was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Mary C. (Stuart) and Richard H. Lynch and was raised in Randolph, Massachusetts with her two younger sisters in a neighborhood that kids dream of. In her 20’s, her spirit of adventure took her to California where she lived life to the fullest and excelled at her professional career in Commercial Insurance. In the 1990’s she returned to the East Coast to be closer to her mother, and joined her family at J. Richardi Construction where she worked until her retirement.
Jeanne was a treasured wife, sister, relative and friend who loved all those in her life unconditionally. We all loved and cherished her every day. She always had a sense of adventure, a great sense of humor and a lifelong desire for knowledge. She found peace and beauty in Nature – especially while birding and travelling with her husband. She was a good, kind, strong, courageous, and admirable force in our world and her presence will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Eugene King of Warren; her sister Joan K. Richardi and husband Joe of Tenants Harbor and their son Joseph of Rockport; her sister Judi Trenholm and her husband Ken of Rockport; her grandniece Suzannah and her mom Lil; her grandnephew, Dylan and his mom Susie. She is also survived by her in-laws Paul and Debra King, Doreen Moore, Rose and Skip Gay, Dorothy King, David Wyllie and his companion Gail Piper.
She was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George King Jr. and Gertrude King; sister-in-law Shirley Wyllie, brothers-in-law Martin King Sr., George King III and Lloyd Moore. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She had many dear friends, especially Annie Norman who lives in California and her lifelong friend Ellen McElroy who predeceased her.
Per Jeanne’s request, there will be no service. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Her family would like to thank all the wonderful people in her life for their care and kindness.
